Houston’s premiere multicultural choir International Voices Houston announces its search for a new Artistic Director. This is a part-time position with a targeted hiring date in April 2025 and an official start date in June 2025 in order to program their debut concert cycle which will commence with auditions in August 2025.

In its 26^th season, International Voices Houston currently comprises more than 100 auditioned volunteer singers of all musical experience levels, from a variety of cultural, racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds, who live in the greater Houston area. Our singers represent more than 30 nationalities, speak dozens of languages, with ages ranging from 16 years old to 80+ years young.

The choir rehearses on Monday evenings. A season currently consists of two concert cycles: Fall, running August to December, and Spring, running January to May. The choir performs music from all parts of the world, from all periods, historical and modern, and in all styles and genres. Much of it is sung in the original languages. The unparalleled diversity of our artistic programming is a direct reflection of the international and culturally diverse city we call home.

The Artistic Director oversees, manages, and makes decisions regarding all artistic activities of International Voices Houston while supporting, promoting, and exemplifying its mission of creating global harmony by celebrating and giving voice to human difference.
